Daisuke Ishida is a Berlin based artist working with sound and contemporary media.
He is interested in designing processes, physical environments in artistic contexts. His works pursue aesthetics and consequence of computer music, and seek to realize synthetic space in sound. His research includes Acoustics, Auditory Perception, Complex Systems and Machine Learning Based Algorithm.
He established AUSREIHE, an independent organization committed to experimental electronic/computer music since 2009, is involved with the artist collective NK, which is dedicated to sound art practices in Berlin. in 2005 he participated in the MobLab project, a Japanese-German media camp. Together with Ken Furudate, Kazuhiro Jo and Mizuki Noguchi, he founded The SINE WAVE ORCHESTRA and The SINE WAVE QUARTET in 2002, which received Honorary Mention in Digital Music category of the Prix ARS Electronica 2004 and Stiftung Niedersachsen work stipends for Media Art 2009 at Edith Russ Site for Media Art.

JD Zazie
JD Zazie (aka Valeria Merlini) is a sound artist born in Italy. After the bachelor’s degree in urban sociology at the University of Architecture in Florence, she obtained the master’s degree in “Soundstudies” at the Academy of Arts (UdK) in Berlin. Her sound installations and performances explore everyday life, refer to urbanism’s and urban planning’s topics and relate to sound atmosphere. She investigates the same themes from a curatorial perspective as well (Seminar ” Urban design and aural spaces”, Piacenza_2010; Symposium and following publication “La città suonante/Die klingende Stadt”, Bozen_2006).
She participated to several exihibitions, festivals and events. Among the most: Soundscape and Listening (St. Poelten), Wetsounds (London), Die lange Nacht der Wissenschaften (Berlin), Avantgarde Festival (Schiphorst), Das kleine Fieldrecording Festival (Berlin), Short formats Festival (Milano), Audioscoop (Maastricht), Biegungen im Ausland (Berlin).
As dj she focused on “experimental” electronic music, played solo and with several groups. Between 1989 and 2004 she produced many experimental music and electronica radio shows for the free radio scene in Italy (Radio Tandem_Bolzano, Novaradio_Firenze). She is in Staalplaat Radio’s team since 2009.
Since 2008 she writes for Digimag, International Magazine of Art and Digital Culture.
Currently she lives in Berlin.
Mario de Vega
Mario de Vega (B. Mexico City, 1979). Works in Berlin & Mexico City.
His work overlaps relations between stability, failure, simulation and ambiguity with site-specific interventions, sound events, misused electronics, process-oriented projects, sculpture and sound improvisation.
As an improviser, his practice explores the value of fragility & in-determination involving a wide range of customized objects, analog and modified electronics, turntables and computer based interfaces in different combinations.
His work has appeared in different contexts throughout Europe, Mexico, Russia, United States, Canada, Japan, Korea and South America.
