salon bruit is a collective with heterogeneous activities centered around noise and experimental music. it was founded in 2001 with various concerts being organized in spaces in berlin. it is a wandering meeting point both for audience and composers. it is also an open stage for the presentation of experimental video works and interesting (audio/visual/electronic) workshops.

JD Zazie will perform as dj for the Salon Bruit event friday 27th in Acud (Berlin).
Recognisable sounds will be transformed, using the “Äpfelzerstörer-method”, into a new aural experience. In the process of abstraction and decontextualisation an intimate communication with the audience will be created.

La sfilata circoscritta nelle linee blu di un posto auto

Il progetto RED CARPING nasce dalla volontà degli studenti del Corso Triennale di Design della
Moda di appropriarsi di uno spazio all’interno della città, con l’obiettivo di mostrare ai suoi abitanti
le creazioni realizzate durante l’anno accademico 2007-08.

L’evento RED CARPING si inserisce all’interno di un progetto più ampio, quello di un magazine
semestrale dal titolo Stories on. I tre concepts di questo primo numero sono “Cities”,
“Autobiographies” e “Dreams”.

La città diventa così protagonista: il red carpet esce dai luoghi convenzionali per essere steso sul
suolo cittadino, all’interno delle strisce blu di un parcheggio.
L’idea infatti è quella di usare questo piccolo spazio e stravolgerne la funzione: i 2,5 x 5 m del
posto auto diventano la “passerella” sulla quale sfilano 6 modelle che indossano le creazioni degli
studenti. I capi sono giacche in pelle realizzate nel corso di Design della Moda (già esposte durante
il Fuorisalone di Milano nell’istallazione White Carpet) e abiti che nascono dalla rielaborazione di
una camicia.
Tutto quello che avviene sulla passerella avrà tutti i crismi di una sfilata tradizionale.
Tutto intorno, la città.
L’evento viene accompagnato dal dj set di Wj MEATBALL, che propone una musica
contaminata dai suoni e dai rumori della città.
Red Carping si svolgerà durante tutta la giornata, sotto gli occhi di una città che cambia, con
eventi-sfilata dalle 8.30 alle 22.30.
Sono previsti 6 defilé della durata di 15 minuti circa alle ore:
8.30 - 12.00 - 14.30 - 16.30 - 18.30 - 20.30 - 22.30.
Il progetto sarà documentato da un reportage fotografico che verrà inserito nel magazine Stories
on; gli scatti mostreranno i diversi momenti della giornata che saranno scanditi dai passanti diretti
verso i propri appuntamenti: l’entrata al lavoro, la pausa pranzo, l’aperitivo etc.

Tagofest non è un festival come gli altri, è più una festa, un ritrovo dove etichette e musicisti indipendenti si danno appuntamento per suonare, trovarsi, presentarsi al pubblico e soprattutto divertirsi. Tagofest nasce nel 2005 da una iniziativa di Gianmaria Aprile (Fratto9 Under The Sky Records), Bruno Dorella (Bar La Muerte Records) e il Tagomago di Massa. Il funzionamento dei Tagofest è molto semplice: ogni etichetta indipendente presente fa suonare un gruppo autofinanziandosi e ricevendo in cambio tutta l’assistenza tecnica necessaria e uno spazio espositivo nel patio esterno del Tagomago.

have preserved the pureness and modernity of a visionary artist.

Ubuntu Rehearsal #1 di cui firma la regia, il concerto-dj set-happening di Letizia Renzini sarà incentrato sull’improvvisazione e l’interplay, sulla costruzione di un “corpo sonoro collettivo” che vedrà ospite la dj e produttrice fiorentina Roberta WJM Andreucci della Burp Enterprise.
Un incontro di consolles e un sound che mescola elettronica, free jazz e beat, compendiato dalla recente produzione visuals di Renzini.

Tuesday 12 February Plasma Expander @ Ulisse Barnum start at 10.30 pm

Hallo everybody, we are proud to announce the concert of Plasma Expander next 12 February at Ulisse Barnum in Florence. After the concert we will have the pleasure to have also Edoardo Ricci (Jealousy Party, Pangolinorchestra, Ricci-Sanna-Turner & more) Andrea Caprara (Pangolinorchestra, Squarcicatrici, Waristerror, Jealousy Party) Matteo Bennici (Motociclica Tellacci, Lubuaku, Pina Bau, Waristerror), and WJM (Jealousy Party) playing with Plasma Expander in different combinations of impro music.

Last but not least, before and after the shows, the Wicked Hour dj set!!!

Featuring members of Bron y Aur and the Cue Lie, Plasma Expander were formed in 2004 in Cagliari (Sardynia). No goal was planned but to play freely and spontaneously across drums and guitars instinctive sections, merely patterned either on a mood or a slight outline. Totally unwitting and disinterested about the outcoming material identity, the band found itself moving from kraut territories to untied blues splinters. Some might call it free rocknroll. In 2005 Plasma expander performed a bunch of successful shows and in November 2005 they recorded their debut album with Simon Balestrazzi on the desk. The material was successively mixed by Mattia Coletti (Sedia, Zeno, Polvere). The album is out now for Wallace Records and Here I Stay Records.

Mighty MatPogo si ispira all’idea del fallimento come qualcosa di intrinseco alla vita. Sin dalla nascita, infatti, in ogni azione siamo accompagnati dal rischio di fallire. Impariamo e progrediamo grazie alla possibilità di non riuscire. Fallire all’inizio può sembrare naturale e innocente, come quando un bambino impara a camminare, ma prima o poi il fallimento assume inesorabilmente l’aspetto di un tabù e, in una società come la nostra, in cui le regole sono dettate dal successo, diventa qualcosa da evitare o di cui ci si deve vergognare.
La coreografia coinvolge quattro interpreti, tre danzatori e il musicista/cantante Mat Pogo, la cui arte varia da suoni animaleschi a sospiri e balbettamenti umani, da melodie a testi recitati o decantati. Oltre alle qualità di artista vocale, il musicista ricorre alla sua esperienza di dj e radio-artista. Facendo dialogare i vari elementi compositivi – musica, suono, corpi danzanti, luce, elementi aneddotici e narrativi – Giulia Mureddu ricerca il punto di intersezione tra un materiale di movimento astratto e forme di espressione più teatrali, in un gioco dinamico che alterna struttura e improvvisazione.

L’aspetto teorico della musica improvvisata avverrà con la lettura di testi chiave, e attraverso l’ascolto guidato.
Gli aspetti pratico-esecutivi saranno affrontati attraverso esercizi appropriati in solo, duo, trio.
L’accento cadrà anche sulle “tecniche estese”, lo studio di tutta una gamma di suoni mai utilizzati.
“La scoperta della capacità di poter improvvisare in musica, ma anche in altri campi espressivi,
coincide spesso con la consapevolezza dell’esistenza di un potere segreto che è insito in ogni individuo che si voglia esprimere con un mezzo artistico”.

Eugenio Sanna
Chitarrista e musicoterapeuta, figura di spicco nella scena nazionale della musica improvvisata,
ha suonato con i nomi più importanti del panorama internazionale da Roger Turner a Derek Bailey, da Peter Kowald a John Zorn.
Collabora dal ‘94 con la New York University. Jazz Magazine e Blow-Up sono alcune riviste su cui sono stati pubblicati i suoi scritti.
