About Joao Montreal:

Joao Montreal is born in Angola in 1820. He is initiated into Bantou
sorcery’s rites and gets rich on diamand business. His art, so far
unrecognized, was recently rediscovered thanks to the perseverance of a
Japanese reader: Jaaku Agemono. His drawings, exhumed from the
oblivion,
have preserved the pureness and modernity of a visionary artist.

Bantou-Zauberei eingeweiht und bereichert sich am Diamantgeschäft.
Seine bisher verkannte Kunst ist neulich dank der Beharrlichkeit eines
japanischen Universitätslehrers wiederentdeckt worden: Jaaku Agemono.
Die ausgegrabenen Zeichnungen der Vergessenheit haben die Reinheit und
Modernität eines visionären Künstlers behalten.

Come continuazione e integrazione allo spettacolo Dei Secoli. Ubuntu Rehearsal #1 di cui firma la regia, il concerto-dj set-happening di Letizia Renzini sarà incentrato sull’improvvisazione e l’interplay, sulla costruzione di un “corpo sonoro collettivo” che vedrà ospite la dj e produttrice fiorentina Roberta WJM Andreucci della Burp Enterprise.
Un incontro di consolles e un sound che mescola elettronica, free jazz e beat, compendiato dalla recente produzione visuals di Renzini.

Machisei’s new exposition opening at the Albero Celeste gallery in S.Giminiano
at 6.30 p.m during the vernissage there will be a live painting action. machisei will work on a big canvas in deep relation with the music by Eugenio Sanna (guitar), WJMeatball(mix+cdjs), Jimmy Gelli (electronics).

L’ 11 05 08 Machisei inaugura la sua personale alla galleria Albero Celeste di S.Giminiano.
Durante il vernissage, che inizierà alle 18.30, Machisei si renderà partecipe di una perfomance di livepanting dove dipingerà una tela di grandi proporzioni guidata dalla musica di Eugenio Sanna (chitarra), WJMeatball(cds), Jimmy Gelli (elettroniche).
