On February the 5th JD Zazie will open the night at Naherholung playing solo before the set of Trophies.
Trophies is speech loops, rotating stories, articles, pronouns, prepositions and ecstatic non-meters in human and animal shape.

Some BURP units will participate at this annual meeting of FKL. Edoardo Ricci and Stefano Bartolini as part of the Wind Ensamble will play compositions of Luigi Guarnieri. JD Zazie alias Valeria Merlini together with Felicity Ford will present a short version of the sonic impressions of the last day of Tuned City Tallinn ”10. July 2011 – third conference day”. The recordings and the piece were realized at the festival during the workshop framework radio – documentation and production. More detailed infos on the program.

Two gigs for Semerssuaq soon in Italy. Watch out!
You can hear and cross them on the 18th at Perditempo, in Napoli, and on the 19th in Rome at the electro acoustic festival ”Re-Volt” .

The electro-acoustic festival ”Re-Volt” will take place in four different locations of Pigneto, in Rom: Forte Fanfulla, Dal Verme, Sister Ray, Fanfulla 101.
For its first edition Semerssuaq will play at 10 PM at Dal Verme in via Luchino dal Verme 8.
The opening will take place at 4 PM of the same day at Sister Ray. Detailed infos and the program are HERE.
BETT 4 are Joke Lanz, Ignaz Schick, Dawid Szczesny and JD Zazie. This experimental turntable quartet founded in 2011 by Ignaz Schick resembles four international & experienced “experimental” turntablists who are all currently residing in Berlin. The group is performing improvisations, concept pieces and original compositions of the four members but also invites composers to write and propose pieces which are written for this unique line-up.
On the 15th of November they will play for Tonerholung #4, a series of meetings on experimental music that takes place at Naherholung in Berlin. They will share the night with Amoebazoid (Keith O´Brien) and with Giovanni Longo, playing duo and presenting “ORGANIZED SOUND … ORGANIZED?!?”
