The workshop will focus on methods of voice production within a framework of voice physiology and acoustics that are influenced by ethnic/world & western experimental traditions.
The training will be focused on techniques of production and not style.
The idea is that there is still room to explore the biodiversity of sound production as not all potential has been reached.
No previous experience necessary.

Drawing-club collaborations.

-Pass them papers around like the a-virus and quit hogging all the blue markers.
-Say, it is like honey. All the busy little bees gathering dew and pollen and making honey together.
-Sure, I guess. It’s kinda like music too.
-Eh?
-Well, when you have a bunch of people making sounds at the same time you get a combined sound. Their common sound, which is the sound of every one of them, and yet not any one’s own. And you know the way a picture drawn by a person reflects his or her thoughts and culture and personality and everything. Well, so, what if you have six or eight people drawing a picture together, then what does that image reflect? What’s in that image?
-I think it’s sorta like a conversation.
-Well what is it when you have eight people talking at the same time?
-Are they talking sense, or just talking over each other?
-Yes, they’d have to be able to make sense together, before you could make any sense of it.
-It’s the same thing with music. The musicians don’t necessarily know exactly what they’re going to play, they just get going and try to make things fit. They listen to each other and try to guess where the others are going. The result is a surprise.

On display are colourful conversations on paper. Also a couple of dialogues and some monologues. All discussions are written in riddle and allegory. The angle is multiple-perspective. The drawings of a drawing club.

There shall be drawing done within the gallery! Also music shall be performed!
