The Jealousy Party in his basic trio (WJM: JP set, Mat Pogo: actual and recorded vocals, Edoardo Ricci. wind instruments) started in April the JP+1 project.

A series of improvisational recordings, each one with a specific guest musicians

The first two have been recorded allready, respectively with guitar player Eugenio Sanna and with electro acoustic composer [-hyph]. They must be properly mixed during this summer. The other two ones, with drummers Filippo Monico and Stefano Giust will be recorded this fall. All of the four recordings should be released by Stefano Giust’s label Setola di Maiale in the next months this year. We will let you know at the right time.

Non c’è sosta nella giungla sonora abitata da sax in fiamme, percussioni impazzite, laptop e cdj che friggono, l’inimitabile voce. Fanfare, percussioni libere, screzi elettronici, voci in loop, celebrazioni fiatistiche, fantasie grandguignolesche, percussioni artistiche, ritmi sincopati, pura astrazione, impro jazz, break elettronici, free jazz, parola, improvvisazione radicale, avant, weird jazz, out pop, istrionismo irrefrenabile, improv-’rock’, hip hop, avant-funk più torbido, elettronica destrutturata, freeform rock’n'roll, soul music da fine del mondo, abstract jazz, terapia antiipnotica. La radicale decostruzione ritmica di un qualcosa che una volta poteva essere funk, la codificazione della ‘punca’, nuovo tipo di danza da loro inventato, linee funk secche e pestate, accenni lunari, parossismi, cifra cartoonesca, no wave, lazzi improvvisativi, delicatezze spinose. idiosincratico approccio free-form tutto scatti, contorcimenti e cut-up. Ancora un’idea: concrete jungle music.
Ma farsi prendere la mano da improbabili definizioni o legiferare sulle categorie è come volersi mostrare fachiri a tutti i costi.
Eppure quella contenuta in Again è musica che stimola i padiglioni auricolari.
Questa innata voglia di mettersi in gioco fa del Jealousy Party quasi un’unità di attacco artistica, un nucleo di pensatori liberi presi dalla vena improvvisativa e da turbolenti numeri rock’n'roll. sono già oltre il rock, ma, senza dimenticare le origini e le appartenenze.
Per qualità e quantità calorica prodotta/espressa, dovrebbe entrare difilato ai primi posti delle hit parade quando il grasso dei timbri bassi arriva a penzolare fuori dai pori. metastasi strabordante di mille imput diversi e picco creativo, ma tutti decidono di giocare di squadra.
Il pezzo clou del disco è la fluviale “Il danno alla fiera”, l’ambiziosa suite Il danno alla fiera, la fluviale Il Danno Alla Fiera, climax del disco con il Danno Alla Fiera, 19 minuti di puro esorcismo. Il suono della band (sublimato nella lunghissima il danno alla fiera) è costantemente in evoluzione. La musica della band è un circo ‘ritmo puro’ senza tempi né tempo. La spontanea temerarietà post-tutto; una banda di matti. Jealousy Party scava un solco.
l’estetica “muscolata” del gruppo, coagulo di istintualità e organizzazione istantanea, raggiunge vette di sconsiderata eccellenza, ridisegna le mappe, cosa, come; dove

salon bruit is a collective with heterogeneous activities centered around noise and experimental music. it was founded in 2001 with various concerts being organized in spaces in berlin. it is a wandering meeting point both for audience and composers. it is also an open stage for the presentation of experimental video works and interesting (audio/visual/electronic) workshops.

JD Zazie will perform as dj for the Salon Bruit event friday 27th in Acud (Berlin).
Recognisable sounds will be transformed, using the “Äpfelzerstörer-method”, into a new aural experience. In the process of abstraction and decontextualisation an intimate communication with the audience will be created.

La sfilata circoscritta nelle linee blu di un posto auto

Il progetto RED CARPING nasce dalla volontà degli studenti del Corso Triennale di Design della
Moda di appropriarsi di uno spazio all’interno della città, con l’obiettivo di mostrare ai suoi abitanti
le creazioni realizzate durante l’anno accademico 2007-08.

L’evento RED CARPING si inserisce all’interno di un progetto più ampio, quello di un magazine
semestrale dal titolo Stories on. I tre concepts di questo primo numero sono “Cities”,
“Autobiographies” e “Dreams”.

La città diventa così protagonista: il red carpet esce dai luoghi convenzionali per essere steso sul
suolo cittadino, all’interno delle strisce blu di un parcheggio.
L’idea infatti è quella di usare questo piccolo spazio e stravolgerne la funzione: i 2,5 x 5 m del
posto auto diventano la “passerella” sulla quale sfilano 6 modelle che indossano le creazioni degli
studenti. I capi sono giacche in pelle realizzate nel corso di Design della Moda (già esposte durante
il Fuorisalone di Milano nell’istallazione White Carpet) e abiti che nascono dalla rielaborazione di
una camicia.
Tutto quello che avviene sulla passerella avrà tutti i crismi di una sfilata tradizionale.
Tutto intorno, la città.
L’evento viene accompagnato dal dj set di Wj MEATBALL, che propone una musica
contaminata dai suoni e dai rumori della città.
Red Carping si svolgerà durante tutta la giornata, sotto gli occhi di una città che cambia, con
eventi-sfilata dalle 8.30 alle 22.30.
Sono previsti 6 defilé della durata di 15 minuti circa alle ore:
8.30 - 12.00 - 14.30 - 16.30 - 18.30 - 20.30 - 22.30.
Il progetto sarà documentato da un reportage fotografico che verrà inserito nel magazine Stories
on; gli scatti mostreranno i diversi momenti della giornata che saranno scanditi dai passanti diretti
verso i propri appuntamenti: l’entrata al lavoro, la pausa pranzo, l’aperitivo etc.

Tagofest non è un festival come gli altri, è più una festa, un ritrovo dove etichette e musicisti indipendenti si danno appuntamento per suonare, trovarsi, presentarsi al pubblico e soprattutto divertirsi. Tagofest nasce nel 2005 da una iniziativa di Gianmaria Aprile (Fratto9 Under The Sky Records), Bruno Dorella (Bar La Muerte Records) e il Tagomago di Massa. Il funzionamento dei Tagofest è molto semplice: ogni etichetta indipendente presente fa suonare un gruppo autofinanziandosi e ricevendo in cambio tutta l’assistenza tecnica necessaria e uno spazio espositivo nel patio esterno del Tagomago.

Machisei’s new exposition opening at the Albero Celeste gallery in S.Giminiano
at 6.30 p.m during the vernissage there will be a live painting action. machisei will work on a big canvas in deep relation with the music by Eugenio Sanna (guitar), WJMeatball(mix+cdjs), Jimmy Gelli (electronics).

L’ 11 05 08 Machisei inaugura la sua personale alla galleria Albero Celeste di S.Giminiano.
Durante il vernissage, che inizierà alle 18.30, Machisei si renderà partecipe di una perfomance di livepanting dove dipingerà una tela di grandi proporzioni guidata dalla musica di Eugenio Sanna (chitarra), WJMeatball(cds), Jimmy Gelli (elettroniche).
