Radu Malfatti’s\u00a0fordan\u00a0(written for Dan Warbuton) gently and\u00a0persistently probes the listener’s perceptions of time and space,\u00a0with a minimal of distractions from physically tangible sonic materials.\u00a0This sense of timing and space is further explored and exploited in\u00a0Annette Kreb’s site-specific composition for solo performer. The\u00a0sounds associated with Quiet Cue and the Staalplaat environs are\u00a0considered as viable sonic palette – in a sense, the place becomes\u00a0the score.<\/p>\n
