SQUARCICATRICI<\/a><\/strong>
\n Jacopo Andreini<\/strong>‘s free music ensemble will play few gigs this month. But some special ones. If you are around Milano<\/strong> check the two shows at the real beginning of the month. On April the first<\/strong> they will play at La Scighera<\/strong> recording live a new album. Don’t miss it if you want to be part of it. The day after<\/strong> they will play directly in the belly of the berlusconian beast having a concert in Arcore<\/strong>‘s resistant place Arci Blob<\/strong>. JEALOUSY PARTY<\/a><\/strong>
\nGetting ready for Mercato Centrale<\/strong>, the new album as an octet, mutant punca outfit JP<\/strong> will focus this month on his smallest versions as a duo and trio. A concert in Firenze<\/strong> will see WJM<\/strong>,\u00a0Jimmy Gelli<\/strong> and Edoardo Ricci<\/strong> playing an electronics and reeds instrumental set at La Casa della Creativit\u00e0<\/strong> on April the 8th<\/strong>. On the 23rd<\/strong> at N.K. Berlin JP<\/strong> will support OvO<\/strong> sharing a special evening with Ratbag + Anton Maiof<\/strong> and Claudio Rocchetti + Klaus Janek<\/strong>. JP<\/strong> will perform as a duo with WJM<\/strong> and Mat Pogo<\/strong> presenting new material from Mercato Centrale<\/strong> and their new ep Marchia Sodo<\/a><\/strong> <\/strong>out this month on the I Morsi<\/a><\/strong> series on Burp Publications<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TSIGOTI<\/a><\/strong>
\nPiano driven acid punks Tsigoti<\/strong> will extensively tour Italy<\/strong> in April and May. After their recent US tour the quartet led by Thollem Mc Donas<\/strong> on piano and vocals, Andrea Caprara<\/strong> on drums, Jacopo Andreini<\/strong> on guitar and new entry Piero Spitilli<\/strong> on bass will present their freshly recorded new album\u00a0 in their bizarre discography. A first album as Waristerror Terroriswar<\/strong> out for Burp Publications<\/strong> and Edgetone record<\/strong>s, a second one- the first as Tsigoti- for\u00a0ESP-Disk<\/strong> and this third one at the moment self released in cdr format. PENATES<\/a><\/strong>
\nAfter their debut last summer at the Avantgarde Festival<\/strong> in Schiphorst JD Zazie<\/strong> and Mat Pogo<\/strong>‘s time expanding project Penates<\/strong> will have the premiere of their abstract\/concrete cabaret piece Wait & Hope<\/strong> on the 28th<\/strong> at Altes Finanzamt<\/strong> – Berlin<\/strong> during a special evening dedicated to aspects of waiting.
\nIs still available the limited edition compilation cassette A Day In the Life<\/a><\/strong> out for Staaltape<\/strong>, curated by Rinus van Alebeek<\/strong> with their contribution among others<\/p>\n

LAPIS NIGER<\/a><\/strong>
\nLapis Niger is the nom de plume of Uochi Toki<\/strong>‘s mc Napo<\/strong> when he does comics and graphic stuff. Modo Infoshop<\/strong> just published a groundbreaking 172 pages comicbook titled Piano Immaginario – Volume Uno – introducing the multidimensional Spadari saga. As a local promoter Burp Enterprise <\/strong>will support this month just one but fine event in Raum 20 – Berlin<\/strong> on the 12th<\/strong>. An evening with Rub\u00e9n Pati\u00f1<\/strong>o aka Pato<\/strong>, a trio composed by Dieb 13<\/strong>, Billy Roisz<\/strong>, Mario De Vega<\/strong>, and a duo by Martin Howse<\/strong> and Martin Kuentz<\/strong>. Our beloved JD Zazie<\/strong> will spin records following strictly her \u00a0\u00c4pfelzerst\u00f6rermethod<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TURNER Live in Pisa<\/strong> will be published later this month?.\u00a0Live in Pisa <\/strong>is a\u00a0new cd in the Burp Publicatons MHMusic series capturing a 2006 concert by polintrumentalist Edoardo Ricci<\/strong> and guitar player Eugenio Sanna<\/strong> together with british drummer extraordinaire Roger Turner<\/strong>. After two legendary duo albums (Lo Scorfano Miracolato<\/strong> and Le Sette Premonizioni Ortofrutticole<\/strong>) and one album in trio with Roger Turner I Segnali Della Ritirata<\/strong>, all released by Burp Publications, Ricci and Sanna join forces again with Turner for Live in Pisa. A new chapter in a more than 30 years exploration on free music. Recorded by Alessandro Boscol<\/strong>o the cd will be available at the end of the month and distributed worldlwide in May.<\/p>\n
