He is initiated into Bantou<br \/>\nsorcery&#8217;s rites and gets rich on diamand business. His art, so far<br \/>\nunrecognized, was recently rediscovered thanks to the perseverance of a<br \/>\n Japanese reader: Jaaku Agemono. His drawings, exhumed from the<br \/>\n oblivion,<br \/>\nhave preserved the pureness and modernity of a visionary artist.<\/p>\n<p>German:<br \/>\nJoao Montreal ist 1820 in Angola geboren.
